I learned many years ago that to pronounce words with "TH" you must place your tongue under the upper front teeth. And then let the air go through the tongue outside the mouth.
For example:
THink - Do that above and will sound like "F"
THe end - Do that above and will sound like "D"
In every dictionary you have some characters before the explanation teaching the exact pronunciation of a word.
