I'm practicing the "TH" sound. It's no so easy how I did thought, because the "TH" sounds actually don't exist in Portuguese. Until little time ago I did think that pronouncing D sound or F sound I was doing correctly. Is it sounds easy to you?

I learned many years ago that to pronounce words with "TH" you must place your tongue under the upper front teeth. And then let the air go through the tongue outside the mouth.

For example:

THink - Do that above and will sound like "F"
THe end - Do that above and will sound like "D"

In every dictionary you have some characters before the explanation teaching the exact pronunciation of a word.

I will share my experience here, I learned english by myself mostly playing video games and RPG's while I was a kid. I remember not even being able to translate a whole sentence, but the desire to learn made me improve that shit over the years. IMO it's a lot easier to learn it nowadays with Netflix, YouTube and all that good technology. Everyone have the tools nowadays, you just have to take it!

Everything I know I've learned by myself too, through reading foruns, watching movies and listening to musics... and I never had the will of doing a course. One fact I've noticed is person who does courses are more inclined to be very meticulous and correct others all the time, sincerely it is not good. One thing i don't get it is: why these language-learning apps keeps pushing the translate factor to us ? This doesn't work at all, for fucks sake. Instead, they can be more effective at using images in the learning process, because the image assimilation works WAY better when you're learning a new language.

An example is: when you face a word like this:

If you try to translate that, is broom. But if instead of translating to another language, using:
